Warnings

  • Do not use Migard 2.5 mg Tablets if you have a history of heart attack, stroke, blood clotting problems or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  • Do not use Migard if you are allergic to any of its ingredients
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Migard 2.5mg Tablets.
  • Discuss with your doctor before using Migard if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not take Migard 2.5mg Tablets if you have taken an MAO inhibitor within the past 14 days.

Directions

  • Always follow the instructions given by your doctor or read the information provided on the package leaflet when self-medicating.
  • Take the tablets when the migraine headache begins, or during the aura phase that may precede the migraine headache.
  • Migard 2.5mg Tablets are to be used orally as a single dose and can be taken without food. However, if nausea or stomach upset occurs, take the tablets with food.
  • The tablet should be swallowed whole without crushing or chewing, with plenty of water.
  • If you miss a dose of Migard 2.5mg Tablets, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take more than the recommended dose which is two tablets per day.

  • The active ingredient is Frovatriptan.
  • The inactive ingredients are Anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycollate (type A), silica colloidal anhydrous, OPADRY white: titanium dioxide, hypromellose, macrogol, triacetin.
